About Woori Korean BBQ

Woori Korean BBQ is a korean bbq in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 1870 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601, which places it among the local businesses of Lancaster that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Lancaster, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–2:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Woori Korean BBQ at (717) 874-5892; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is woorikoreanbbqpa.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Lancaster is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Lancaster is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We visited tonight and had excellent service. The food was delicious and we got a lot of it! This is a unique experience and I would highly recommend it. The Bulgogi was spot on. Get the steamed dumplings too! Yum!

We came in at an off peak time (3:30 PM) for an early dinner and were fortunately the only people there! However, Woori can fit a large number of people eating and different parties. The space was clean and smoke free. We ordered one of the options for a meat bundle, three types of meat and it came with banchan, two small salads, a special order of pickled daikon (thank you to the owners!!), a bowl of white rice, and kimchi stew. It was a lot of food for what we paid for and while we could’ve stopped there, we loved the seasoned beef and marinated short rib and ordered sides of that (which also came with their own sides, we chose the egg). Everything was delicious, generous portion sized, and fresh. We were shocked at how flavorful everything was. The staff was very attentive as well. Gabe ensured we knew how things worked and checked in with us, I think the owner also stopped by to check in which is always appreciated, and another woman was helping. Each staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful, like checking our grill needed to be changed and kept up with the grill temp. Cannot wait to come back again and bring other family members!

If you're looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience, this place is absolutely worth it! Such a cool experience to be able to cook the meat yourself on the grill! While it's a bit on the expensive side, you're paying for quality ingredients. I recommend the galbi. Sweet and savory soy sauce marinade! Super tender and flavorful. Highly recommend!

This was our family’s first time trying Korean BBQ, and overall we had a really good experience! Since Woori Korean BBQ just recently opened, I also want to keep in mind that every new restaurant has a learning curve. I’m also not going to judge things like the lettuce portions with the current lettuce issues affecting availability. The standout of our visit was Chong (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly!). She was super kind and patient, and showed us how to use the grill since we’d never done Korean BBQ before. She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed during the meal. We ordered the 3 Beef Combo, a salad, and an extra side of rice. As you can probably tell by the lack of meat photos, we were way too excited and dug right in before thinking to take pictures! πŸ˜… It ended up feeding two adults and one child really well. The staff did have a couple of small slip-ups, like forgetting a few utensils, but every time we mentioned it they fixed it right away with a smile. For a newly opened restaurant, that’s honestly what you hope to see, friendly service and people who care about making things right. And I have to mention the sides! My partner loved all o
